Will Dragon Age: The Veilguard Be Available on Xbox Game Pass? Here’s What we know

So far, For RPG Fans, 2024 has been a wild ride, hasn’t it? Between all the dragons, dungeons, and devastating plot twists, we’ve been feasting this year.

But just when you think you’ve reached the end of the loot table, Dragon Age: The Veilguard shows up, ready to steal the spotlight.

Dropping on October 31st, it’s been 10 long years since we last ventured into Thedas with Dragon Age: Inquisition. Yeah, you heard me—10 years.

With all the hype, there’s a burning question we’ve all got (specially if you are a Xbox Owner): “Can I get my hands on this through Xbox Game Pass?”

So, Will The Veilguard Be on Xbox Game Pass?

Okay, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the answer looks like a big ol’ nope.

At least not at launch.

But in all honesty, are we even surprised? BioWare games tend to skip Game Pass like they’re dodging a boss fight they’re under-leveled for.

However, While it might not hit Game Pass immediately, it will be available on a very similar service: EA Play Pro.

So if you’re already rolling with EA Play Pro on PC, congrats.

With a $16.99/month subscription, you’ll be able to dive into The Veilguard on day one without having to cough up the full price.

But keep in mind, this is only for EA Play Pro, the premium tier. So if you’re on regular EA Play (or, dare I say, just chilling with Xbox Game Pass), you’re gonna have to wait a bit.

But for How long? Well, EA typically adds its shiny new titles to the standard EA Play library around 6 to 12 months post-launch.

That’s when Dragon Age: The Veilguard will likely make its way into the hands of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass subscribers, since these tiers bundle EA Play in.

So, yeah, it’s coming to Game Pass… eventually.
