Let’s be real for a second. We’re all getting pretty used to the whole “pay more, play early” deal, right?
It’s great when it’s a single-player game because, hey, no one’s messing with your groove.
But when multiplayer comes into play, early access can feel like waiting in line for a rollercoaster, only for the ride to break down just as it’s your turn.
For a game like Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2—which balances solo play, co-op, and a side of PvP—you’d expect matchmaking to, you know, work.
But instead, you’ve got a whole buffet of server issues: long loading screens, lag that makes you question your life choices, random crashes, and even overheated CPUs (seriously, what year is this?)
Now, Marine 2’s matchmaking not working errors is cherry on top of the frustration sundae.
What’s the Deal with Space Marine 2’s Matchmaking?
Space Marine 2 is made with co-op in mind—so naturally, the matchmaking system’s supposed to be your gateway to teaming up with fellow battle-hardened fans.
But large number of players are complaining they can’t get paired up with anyone.
People have tried the usual workarounds, like disabling their VPNs or enabling crossplay, but those haven’t exactly been miracle cures.
There’s also a rumor floating around that if you head back to the main menu and hit “continue,” it might kick matchmaking into gear.
But let’s be real—just because someone said it worked for them doesn’t mean it’s gonna work for you.
It’s like someone saying they found a shortcut in Dark Souls—good for them, but you’ll probably still die trying.
Apparently, the devs have already run some server maintenance, but… yeah, that didn’t really do the trick.
However, over on the official Space Marine 2 Discord, they’ve confirmed they’re still working on it.
Let’s hope they patch it up before we all lose our minds (or our patience).
Can you Fix It?
These are the few tricks you can try which probably can fix Matchmaking not working problem –
- First off, in case If you are using VPN just turn it off.
- Crossplay allows you to match player on any plateform so turn it on already.
- Navigate Back to main menu and hit continue again.
Despite all this, the game’s still getting loads of love—bugs and all.
Saber Interactive definitely didn’t account for this many players flooding the servers, so if you’re about to jump in, be ready for more outages.
