Tips for Smooth Multiplayer session

Since this is an experimental feature, there’s a chance for some bugs and issues, So make sure to follows these tips as well –

  • Use a PC to Host (If You Can): For the smoothest experience, try connecting to a PC-hosted farm from a high-performance phone on a reliable Wi-Fi connection.
  • Enable Network Permissions on iOS: If you’re on iOS, your device may ask for network permissions the first time you try to connect.
  • Turn On Do Not Disturb: Calls or notifications while hosting can disrupt the game, so to keep things smooth, switch your phone to ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode before you start.
  • Watch for Lag: If you notice any lag, it might be due to background apps or intensive activities like mining and fishing with multiple players.

Once you complete these steps you can unlock Stardew Valley’s mobile multiplayer mod.

So grab your friends, get those cabins ready, and get ready to share the joys (and maybe the occasional chicken chase) of farm life right from your phone.
