Dragon Age: The Veilguard is bringing back a familiar face—yep, It your Inquisitor from Dragon Age: Inquisition is making a comeback! And the best part? You’ll get to tweak their look, voice, and background all over again, just like old times.
In an IGN video preview, they drop this news around the 4:36 mark.
The Veilguard’s character creator isn’t just about Rook, the new protagonist. Nope, your Inquisitor—the one who saved Thedas last time—is back, and you get to mess with their background, voice, and appearance.
Remember those four voice actors from Inquisition? They’re back too! You get to pick which one will give life to your custom Inquisitor again.
Sadly, you won’t be choosing their class this time (sorry to my fellow mages), but you’ll still have fun personalizing them just like you did with Rook.
Now, do you remember that little “incident” at the end of Inquisition’s Trespasser DLC, where Solas, your worst frenemy, lopped off your Inquisitor’s hand? Yeah, well, it’s back… sort of.
They’ve got this slick robotic hand now, something straight out of Guts from Berserk, and I’ve got to say, it looks pretty badass.
